Whether we recognize it or not, we are in the middle of a battle. And the battle we are in is against an enemy who hopes that the outcome will be our eternal destruction. If he can’t get that, then he hopes to make our lives a present disaster. Let’s talk about how to go to battle against such an enemy.

Today we are going to begin a message series focused on the new year. Yes, believe it or not, we are rounding the corner on a new year. 2026 is just a few days away. So the question is, what are we going to do with a new year? But for us as believers, it’s a bit more specific. The question for us is, what does God want us to do in 2026? We certainly can’t answer that specific question in regard to everything; but we can look at some of his directions that will give us a bit of guidance. So, we are going to dig into a new series together titled “Mission Impossible.” But don’t be scared off by the title. It’s only impossible if we try to do it on our own.
